Exciting times are ahead for Sewer Heat Recovery (SHR) in Greater Manchester.
Recirc Energy is proud to be supporting the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), and AECOM as they assess the feasibility of SHR at sites across the region. The insights gathered from our sewer energy surveys will help shape strong investment cases for five new district heat networks.
Our work has covered the entire feasibility process: from site selection and United Utilities permitting to monitoring technology choices, flow data analysis, concept designs, and a wastewater heat recovery technology options appraisal with costing.
